About the Director
Susan Cafferty has taught orchestra in Lexington School District One for 20 years. She is a professional cellist and enjoys reading, cooking, running, and spending time with her husband and four children. Susan has also been active in church music for the past fifteen years directing childrens, youth, and adult choirs and hand bells as well.
Mrs. Cafferty earned a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of South Carolina and is continuing her graduate studies there as well. She is a highly qualified and National Board certified teacher.
